Professor Joymohan lives alone in Kolkata. After suffering a severe heart attack on his birthday, he realizes he must spend as much time as possible with his family in Mumbai. He travels to Mumbai to stay with his son Indra, daughter-in-law Rita, and granddaughter Gargi.
