Abhay Gulati and Aaliya Khan have been friends since childhood. Aaliya has always loved acting, since her mum is an actor. Her dad left her and her mum.
Abhay likes cooking but his dad wants him to take care of his business. Eventually Abhay and Aaliya start dating but Aaliya does not want to marry. An opportunity comes for Aaliya to go to Australia for acting school and so she takes it and goes to Australia, but she has to live with her strict aunt.
After she gets annoyed of her aunt, she moves into this big bungalow where a bunch of young people live for cheap money. Abhay gets paranoid and so he comes to Australia, making Aaliya annoyed because she feels he doesn’t trust her. Then they break up.
Abhay opens up a restaurant and it becomes a big hit. Aaliya and Abhay slowly become friends. Aaliya finishes acting school and Abhay’s dad finds out about his restaurant and lets him do what he wants to do (cook).
For Aaliya’s graduation Abhay and his mum come. Aaliya gets an opportunity to work in a movie and signs the contract without telling her mum, so her mum gets mad and leaves. Soon Abhay gets fed up with Aaliya too, because she is selfish and he leaves.
One of her friends tell her he is getting married. Realizing she loves him,she quits the movie and rushes to the airport. She lands in India and her mum picks her up and tells her she forgives Aaliya.
Aaliya gets to Abhay’s house and he is getting ready. Aaliya begs him to think who would he rather be with this person he just met or his best friend forever. Then Aaliya picks up the card and it say Abhay Ghulati and Aaliya Khan.
