Talking about “Apartment”, the movie walks on the same lines as the original. Preeti (Tanushree Dutta) dumps her loverboy, Karan (Rohit Roy), thanks to his two-timing nature, and gets herself a new roommate Neha (Neetu Chandra). The two chicks’ bond well; but sadly, this bond lasts only till the time Neha gets obsessed with Preeti and starts displaying fits and tantrums when the latter reunites with Rohit.
To add to this is Neha’s dual character, where she becomes a venomous feline one moment and right in the next moment she would portray to be the most vulnerable of all. In the two hour reel time that the film lasts, you would be subjected to absolutely plain-paced drama, with no mounting pressure, no suspense and sadly, no thrill as well. All that “Apartment” boasts of is glossy sexual tinge, coupled with a stiff unevenness and a loud melodrama.
